Why Sambro Starts With Tools That Work Immediately
Why Sambro begins with install-free browser tools and short games instead of a broad feature list.
Execution before explanation
Sambro's first rule is simple: when someone arrives from search, the page should solve the problem immediately. That is why the product puts working interfaces ahead of sign-up forms, long introductions, and placeholder content.
Many small tasks can finish entirely in the browser. Image conversion, compression, JSON formatting, word counts, and percentage calculations do not need a separate installed app for most people.
How we choose small apps
Sambro does not keep every small app just because it can be built. Public pages should have clear search intent, work on mobile, and return a useful result without delay.
Thin tools are hidden until they deserve to return. Fewer reliable pages are better than a larger catalog that weakens trust.
What this blog is for
The main Sambro site is the workbench. This blog explains the product decisions behind it: what gets shipped, what gets removed, and why the details matter.
Future posts will cover tool usage notes, safe browser-side file handling, and the small interaction decisions that make short games worth keeping.
